Mini Steel Tube 1X16 Fiber Optic Splitter
Description
PLC splitter is a type of optical power management device that is fabricated using silica optical waveguide technology. It features small size, high reliability, wide operating wavelength range, and good channel-to-channel uniformity, and is widely used in PON networks to realize optical signal power splitting.
The 1x16 Steel Tube Type PLC Splitter is engineered for high-density applications, utilizing Planar Lightwave Circuit (PLC) technology to split one input fiber into 16 output fibers, ensuring equal power distribution across all fibers, regardless of wavelength. Key features include a 900µm loose tube single-mode fiber that offers flexibility with various connector options (LC, SC) or can be left unterminated for easy splicing, and a compact steel tube design that minimizes distortion and guarantees stable transmission. Ideal for passive optical networks, this splitter simplifies network architecture, reduces costs, and supports multiple split ratios such as 1:4, 1:8, 1:32, and 1:64, making it essential for streamlining network infrastructure and enhancing efficiency in high-density environments.
Performance Index

Our 1:N PLC splitters are rigorously tested according to international standards to ensure top optical performance. The chart below highlights key metrics such as insertion loss, uniformity, PDL (Polarization Dependent Loss), and working wavelength, demonstrating our commitment to delivering reliable and high-quality products.
Split Input Signal Evenly into 16 Output Port
Low insertion loss, low polarization-dependent loss and high return loss
Excellent flatness and uniformity in the all-band wavelength coverage of 1260-1650 nm
Bend-resistant insensitive optical fiber with the G657 A model
Widely used in FTTH access network, installing for GPON/EPON/xPON/GEPON hardwares
