ICC News Recently, China Mobile released the terminal company's 2024 own-brand smart home gateway (GPON) BOSA driver chip project comparison announcement and plans to purchase its own brand smart home gateway (GPON) BOSA driver chip.
The project will select two suppliers to complete product supply. The upper limit of the order framework is 15 million pieces (non-committed quantity), and the shares will be distributed according to 60%:40%.
The announcement requires suppliers to complete chip stocking, customs declaration, logistics and delivery, and other related services. The service period is from 2024 to 2026, and the budget amount is 45.765 million yuan (including a 13% tax rate).
In recent years, China Mobile Terminal Company has purchased its own brand of smart home gateway GPON and 10G PON BOSA driver chips on an average annual scale.
In December last year, the terminal company launched the centralized procurement of 10G PON BOSA driver chips in 2024, with an order limit of 5 million pieces. In March last year, the terminal company added new demand projects for 10G PON BOSA driver chips in 2023, and the upper limit of the order framework was 2 million pieces (non-committed quantity).
