Dust prevention measures for fiber optic distribution cabinets are essential to ensure the stability of optical communication systems and extend the life of equipment. The following are several effective dust prevention measures:
1. Use dust cover
Using dust caps at the flanges of fiber optic distribution frames can effectively prevent dust from entering the optical interface and reduce the impact of dust on communication transmission quality. In daily operation and maintenance, special plug-in tools can be used to easily install and remove dust caps to avoid damage or loss of dust caps due to improper operation.
2. Install dust suction structure
A dust suction structure is set at the upper end of the fiber optic distribution frame body, including a fixed box, a dust suction pump, a filter and other components. By turning on the dust suction pump, using the dust suction pipe, exhaust pipe, connecting pipe and diversion pipe, dust can be sucked from the dust suction head into the fixed box, and using partitions and filters, dust is left inside the fixed box, thereby achieving the purpose of dust suction inside the fiber optic distribution frame body.
3. Set up shielding structure
Set up shielding structure, such as support rod and shielding cover, on the upper end of the fiber optic distribution frame body to prevent external dust from directly entering the distribution frame. Built-in blocks and electric push rods can be set on the inner wall of the shielding cover. By controlling the electric push rod, the position of the shielding cloth can be adjusted to further enhance the dust prevention effect.
4. Install drying box
Set up a drying box inside the fiber optic distribution frame body to absorb moisture in the cabinet and reduce dust adhesion. The surface of the drying box is equipped with a partition net to facilitate air circulation while preventing dust from entering.
5. Regular cleaning
Despite the above dust prevention measures, the fiber optic distribution cabinet still needs to be cleaned regularly to remove accumulated dust. Use compressed air or special cleaning tools to gently blow or wipe to avoid damage to the equipment.
Through the above measures, dust accumulation inside the fiber optic distribution cabinet can be effectively reduced to ensure the stable operation of the optical communication system.
