Fiber optic closure, also known as fiber optic splicing closures, is a device used to provide space and protection for fiber optic cables spliced together. The fiber optic closure connects and stores optical fibers safely either in the outside plant or indoor buildings.
General Requirements
1. It has the performance of restoring the integrity of the optical cable jacket and the mechanical continuity of the optical cable reinforcing member.
2. Provide the function of electrical connection, grounding or disconnection of the metal components in the optical cable.
3. It has the performance of protecting the optical fiber connector from the environment.
4. Provide the function of placing the optical fiber connector and storing the remaining optical fiber.
5. The optical cable connector box should also have termite-proof performance when needed.
